A HUGE Thanks to goes the team at UCLA Community Relations for the College Fair and Football game tickets!!! 25 Gahr AVID Students attended the game and fair on Saturday, October 3, 2014. We met in B3 for pizza and drinks before boarding the bus to head over to the Rose Bowl. Once there, students were able to grab UCLA fan fare and dance it up. This year, we were able to watch the kick off and cheer for UCLA--except two students who were hoping for a loss. It went down to the wire with a field goal attempt in the last 8 seconds...to no avail, UCLA lost to Utah. After the game, the bus ride home was silent. All aboard were either asleep or listening to their earbuds. Special thanks goes to Mr. Moreau for chaperoning. |
